Having welcomed over 80 homebuyers and families into their new home at our Shepherd’s Rest development in Beverley, after four years, our team have said a fond farewell to Shepherd’s Rest and hello to The Vines, as our sales team and office has moved to our new Cottingham development.

We’ve loved our time at Shepherd’s Rest and thoroughly enjoyed welcoming new homeowners into Beverley’s market town community. Not to mention the wider community involvement and recognition we received along the way.
Here are five highlights from our time in Beverley:
- We’re proud to say no home is identical on Shepherd’s Rest. Our favourite customisations were to create a Narnia-style walk-in wardrobe and a bespoke under the stairs dog bed.
- From more than 10,000 applicants, our Shepherd’s Rest Site Manager Carl was a proud recipient of the Pride in Job Award by the National House Building Council
- We created the “best sandpit ever” after stepping in to help Little Weighton Primary School restore and weatherproof its damaged playground;
- While our house types were named after different breeds of sheep, back in spring 2021 we actually welcomed three new lambs to Shepherd’s Rest;
- We supported some of our junior Shepherd’s Rest residents by pledging to fund Westwood FC, a brand new U10s local football team, which we’re continuing to support next year. A legacy of how community plays a central part of all of our development.
Not to mention having navigated a Global Pandemic, lockdown and supporting our staff, suppliers and homebuyers along the way. But as with any new beginning, we’re really excited about the future and our new home in Cottingham.
