This month we’ve welcomed our first two families to The Vines which is always an exciting and busy time for our team, with not just one but two completion days.
From site inspections to landscaping, welcome hampers, to the final clean, our Sales Team handles the whole process, so our residents can concentrate on unpacking boxes and enjoying their new home.
Our first two families moved in within seven days of each other, and it won’t be long until they’re joined by our next wave of residents.
Mr and Mrs Jones were the first residents to be welcomed to The Vines, they reserved their four bedroom detached home – The Evergreen – back in January 2022, moving to Cottingham from Anlaby. They’re the first ever residents to live in an Evergreen as this is a new home design for The Vines.
Mrs Jones explained: “We fell in love with the sheer size of the Evergreen! With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, study, enormous living room, huge kitchen and dining area to host – it was a no brainer as it ticked every single box of our dream home.
“The standard of the house isn’t even comparable to many other builders, the rooms are spacious, no compromise on quality and the design is unique – unlike some new builds that lack character.
“The over garage space is a huge bonus and extra, and perfect addition to have as either an office or bar – without taking away from the space inside the house too.
“We’re looking forward to making Cottingham our home, having so much space to possibly start a family one day, our new house is the perfect size and location for the next chapter.”
The Jones family have also been joined on site by The Oxley family who have moved into their four bedroom Olive home. Reserving their home back in Summer 2022 they moved to Cottingham from Cleethorpes.
Mrs Oxley said “We first fell in love with this home when we viewed the showhome at Shepherds Rest. As soon as we walked in we immediately felt at home.”
“Unfortunately this house type had sold out, however the team told us land had been acquired in Cottingham at The Vines. So, here we are after a year’s wait for the house to be built, we’ve finally moved into our dream home.
“We didn’t really know much about Cottingham, but now we’re here we’re delighted. The Vines is positioned close to the town centre, convenient for supermarkets and shops, pubs and cafes and also the doctors. Everyone we’ve met so far is really friendly and helpful. We’re very happy we chose to come to The Vines and are looking forward to exploring all the delights that Cottingham has to offer.”
