Traditionally January is a busy time for us. Maybe it’s the realisation families have outgrown their home as they tried to fit four extra emergency chairs around for the dining table at Christmas or maybe it’s the possibilities and blank canvas of a new year.
Our Sales Office and Show Home have had a busy few weeks as potential buyers come to see what makes our homes award-winning. And with two sites in Cottingham and Beverley and a range of contemporary designs to choose from, there’s never been a better time to secure your dream Risby Home.

The Vines, Cottingham
The Vines signifies the essence of contemporary living. Nestled down Park Lane in Cottingham it’s situated between open land and the bustle of village life.
We were delighted to welcome 13 families into their new homes at The Vines before Christmas, with a further 13 completions set to take place before the Summer.
On Friday 28 January we released 12 new homes in the third phase of the development including an additional plot, plot 57, a four-bedroom detached Clover.
With a solar panel system, upgraded thermal efficiency in window glazing and 25% more wall insulation, Plot 57 will be our warmest most energy efficient home on The Vines.
This is in compliance with the new Part L building regulations which came into effect in June 2022, requiring all new homes to produce 31% less carbon emissions.
The sustainability and energy efficiency of our homes is something we’re extremely passionate about at Risby Homes. All of our new homes on Figham Gate II will have these improved energy efficient features as standard.

Figham Gate II, Beverley Parklands
The second community we’re currently building takes us back to Beverley Parklands, an area with a rich history in the heart of a vibrant town. Two of the four bedroom homes released as part of Phase 1 have already been reserved, including one family who will be moving from the Netherlands.
